Thursday in Malahide

Thursday morning, the 1st of May, Maureen, Bob and I walked to the Malahide Castle. The weather was bright and we really enjoyed the sunshine! Maureen and Bob took the 35-minute tour in the castle.

After visiting the castle we went to the Gibney's Pub for lunch.

Maureen and Bob had the Club Sandwich:

J-P had a Beef Pie:

And I had my favourite '3-in-1 Open Sandwich' with prawns, smoked salmon and crab claws:

In the evening we... ate again (what else would you do...?). I made lasagne for the main course...:

... and a Cloudberry Cheesecake for dessert:

On their way here, Maureen had found a bottle of Canadian (made in Quebec) Cloudberry Liquor at the Calgary Airport! Interesting! We all thought that they make cloudberry stuff only in Finland (and Sweden). Not as good as the Finnish Lapponia, but nice with the cheesecake:

'I ate this much...!':

J-P showing Bob the bottle of Scottish Whisky he bought in Edinburgh:

Saaga and Bob building a puzzle (which they seem to be doing every night :):
