Wit of the Day

I went this morning to the Pavilions Shopping Centre to buy some groceries (and the March Irish Food and Wine Magazine :). Lots to buy: diapers, wipes, dishwasher tablets, flour, yeast, cereals (a favourite brand for each kid), toilet paper, kitchen rolls, Ryvita-crispbread, my favourite licorice tea, garbage bags, veggies, 10kg bag of Rooster potatoes, fruits, milk, juice, yoghurts, cheese, ham, toast, meat, a bottle of red for our Sunday night dinner, some Smithwicks beer for J-P, sweetcorn, pineapple... With this family it is hardly ever less than 200€ when you buy things for a week and today was not a surprise, either:
- 227,60€.
- Here is my bank card.
- Do you want some cash back?
- No, thanks.
- Too much damage done already, eh?
