Roosa and Frans have been pushing me. But it's not been their decision only. I was the one with the wallet. And now the poor little creature, bought by us yesterday, just loves a piece of carrot...and I'm the one who to serve it, while the kids are in school...
Neither J-P nor me really like these creatures, but we will give our kids a try!
May I introduce you: Michael Collins, the dwarf hamster, whose cage is now set in our livingroom (downstairs - so he does not disturb us during the night). He seems to like carrot and basil. And he is sure very funny.
PS Regardless of the 'official' name 'Michael Collins', Ruu is calling it 'Hemmo'. So in the future we may call him either 'Hemmo' or just 'Mike'.

Konstaa kutsuttiin vatsassa Hemmoksi ;) Hauskan näköinen pikku otus ja lapset varmasti tykkää.
Oho! Meidänkin lapset toivoisivat jotain elukkaa lemmikiksi. Onneksi Daddy on allerginen niin voi siihen vedoten kieltäytyä. Itse tykkäisin kissasta mutta toisaalta en haluaisi ison lapsilauman lisäksi ylimääräistä hoidettavaa. Teillä onkin vähän isommat lapset jotka varmaan huolehtivat hamsterista hyvin.
Kissaihmisiä mekin ollaan, ja onhan meillä kaksi kissaa äitini luona hoidossa. Kissakaksosemme täyttävät kesäkuussa jo 11 vuotta ja siksi päätimme, että emme niitä ota Irlantiin mukaamme. Hamsteri on ihan hauska otus :)
