- Of course the same applies to Father's Day: here in June, in Finland in November. And to be even, Roosa and Frans were suggesting yesterday that maybe we could launch two new 'commercial' days: Daughter's Day and Son's Day. And it would be a must to buy nice presents to your sons and daughters.
Yesterday I got beautiful lilies, nice chocolates and very precious cards drawn by each child. Frans had planted some flowers in school and made a pot, too:
For Sunday night dinner J-P made us some Spanish-style dishes. - We started with Serrano ham and melon:
Then we had Xato. It's a Spanish sallad made of fresh tuna steak, frizzy lettuce and eggs, and the sauce is made of grilled red peppers, chili, roasted almonds and olive oil:
For the main course we had tortilla española (potato omelette with red peppers) and pinchos morunos (Moorish lamb). - Delicioso!
The dessert was a fruit sallad, I heard afterwards that Saaga made it. Grand!

Jännä, että siellä äitienpäivä on eri aikaan. Luulin että se on kaikkialla toukokuussa. Nimittäin USAssa on isänpäivä eri aikaan (kesäkuussa), mutta äitienpäivä samana päivänä kuin Suomessakin. No, mitä useammin kakkua ja juhlintaa, sen parempi!
Mäkin ihailen joka kerta teidän aterioita ja esille asettelua. Kerrassaan mahtavia ja lapsille jää taatusti ihanat lapsuusmuistot noista yhdessä tehdyistä aterioista. Selvästi teidän perheelle tärkeä ja yhdistävä juttu. Upeaa.
